Scott J. Mermel is a retired information technology and financial professional, having worked most of his career marketing, selling, and implementing business-to-business information technology software systems and related services. He earned his Bachelor and Master’s degrees from MIT’s Alfred P. Sloan School of Management. He has worked with and for a number of companies implementing internal financial reporting and management systems and outward facing Internet, social media and marketing systems and programs. He has served on a number of non-profit organizations and corporate boards of directors, including a publicly traded corporation. Scott brings this expertise to the Foundation and will work with the Board to develop marketing awareness programs and technological oversight to substantially broaden the Fund’s base of supporters and donors and increase its outreach.
