John Newhouse received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University in 1968. He is presently the Chairman of Gator Trading Partners, LLC. Gator Trading is a proprietary trading firm at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange that focuses on trading metals, grains, and energy products. He was a Director of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for 16 years. Prior to his financial career, he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 until 1972, obtaining the rank of Captain.
