On October 5, The Lewin Fund to Fight Women’s Cancers hosted its 6th Annual Walk for Women’s Cancers, drawing over 300 participants—our largest turnout to date. The event brought together a wide range of supporters, all united by a shared commitment to advancing research, education, and care for women and their families affected by cancer.
The day featured a 5K walk, entertainment, massages, child-friendly activities, and a beautiful array of products from small, local businesses. Attendees also had opportunities to connect with organizations focused on cancer prevention and support. Participants included survivors, families, healthcare professionals, and advocates—many walking in honor of loved ones or in support of those currently undergoing treatment. We are especially thankful to our volunteers and staff, whose behind-the-scenes efforts helped bring the event to life.
Proceeds from the event will support The Lewin Fund’s ongoing initiatives, including funding for innovative research and programs that provide direct assistance to patients.
